Jamie brings more than 20 years’ experience across leisure, community facilities and education, with particular expertise in turning school facilities into successful, sustainable community partnerships.
Before founding SPACES, Jamie led community facility hire across a multi-academy trust, overseeing operations across multiple schools and venues, building relationships with hundreds of community organisations and generating significant additional income for schools.
Hands-on, commercially minded and passionate about community access, Jamie created SPACES around a simple belief: school facilities have enormous potential to support their local communities when the right people, systems and relationships sit behind them.

Director
Darren brings more than 25 years’ experience across education, business development and operational leadership, with a strong track record of building teams, developing school relationships and delivering sustainable commercial growth.
As National Operations Director, Darren has held senior responsibility for operations across a national education business. His experience includes developing high-performing teams, strengthening relationships with schools and helping turn opportunities into scalable, successful operations.
Strategic, commercially focused and people-centred, Darren brings a complementary perspective to SPACES — helping ensure every partnership is built not only around the needs of the school and its community, but on a strong, sustainable model designed for long-term success.
